    Frequently Asked Questions

Can physical therapy help if I already have arthritis?

Yes! While physical therapy cannot cure arthritis, it is one of the most effective ways to manage the symptoms. By strengthening the muscles surrounding the affected joints, we can reduce joint stress, decrease inflammation, and significantly improve your mobility and comfort.

How long does it take to recover from tendonitis?

Recovery time varies depending on the severity of the tendonitis and how long you've had it. With consistent physical therapy, many patients experience significant relief within 4 to 6 weeks, though complete healing of the tendon can take longer.

Will I need surgery for my joint pain?

Many patients are able to avoid or delay surgery through conservative treatments like physical therapy. We focus on restoring mechanics and building strength to naturally alleviate your pain. If surgery is ultimately required, pre-surgical PT (prehab) will make your post-op recovery much smoother.
